Dies at idle and will not restart
Car: Honda, Civic, 1994 - Back to Fix-It - Honda Civic Repair Manuals
Q.Dies at idle and will not restart I can replace the feul filter and it will restart fine and run for a couple of days then do it again. have drained all fuel out of tank and put new gas in along with fuel treatment but still does it.
I already checked/done: Replaced fuel filter, drained gas tank, checked for fire at spark plugs, cap and rotor seem to be fine no carbon build up
Answer You seem to be having a problem with the fuel supply. Quite often the PGM-FI main relay fails intermittently resulting in power supply cut to the fuel pump. The circuit board tends to have some soldered points that cracks over time. Resoldering them would solve the problem.
