Q.I have antifreeze and transaxle fluid running out of engine/transaxle block.
Area is located on the drivers side on the back side corner at a level of just below the intake ports but right near that corner where the timing belthousing is located on the backside of the block.
Radiator and transaxle are empty. Added more fluids and both just run right out of this area.

Answer Sounds like the coolant is leaking from the waterpump weep hole and the balance shaft seal may be leaking under the cover. I don't think your transaxle is leaking based on the location of the leak.
You'll need to pull off the timing covers and replace the waterpump and balance shaft seal and install a retainer to keep the balance shaft seal from popping out in the future.

Addition When I pulled into my driveway I had a trail of transaxle fluid and I looked and this is where it was coming out.
All my antifreeze had already run out by then so I pured in more and that came out of the same corner area as well. If the balance shaft seal is bad could that be a possible route for the transaxle fluid to come out? This fluid is clear but oily.

Answer Tranaxle fluid is light brown if it's a manual tranny and red if it's an automatic so I don't think that's it. Clear oily fluid sounds like brake fluid.

Addition Thats what I thought but just had a brake job a couple months ago, and wasn't familiar with transaxles.
There was no fluid on the transaxle dipstick when I pulled into the driveway. I will get that checked.
Is there a brake line in that same area that would run off the side of the block because I have seen this brake fluid running out of that area?

Secondly I have been hearing a humming sound that grows louder as rpm's increase but could not hear where it was coming from, could that have been the water pump? The noise derceased on right hand curves on the freeway.

Answer The noise sounds like a wheel bearing if it goes away when you turn one way or another.
You just need to check with a flashlight and see where the leak is coming from.
