it would not start
Car: Honda, CRX, 1988 - Back to Fix-It - Honda CRX Repair Manuals
Q.i have a 1988 honda crx. drove to work 10 hours later no start condition. changed cap rotor and plugs still no start. I do have what appears to be good spark. the vehicle would not fire with 2+2.
Answer Ok the problem is the main relay which controls the fuel pump its located uder drivers side dash they re know to short ou causing this exact problem so if there is no fuel pressure then thats the culprit.
Addition when the key is turned on i can here the fuel pump
run although I did not checkfuel pressure.
Answer Ok need to chck the fuel pressure next sounds like not enough pressure if you have spark fuel is then the problem as long as it didnt jump time id lean towards the fuel.
Addition I intend to check system in am is this relay behind the kick panel or above the fuse box.
Answer Under drivers dash above fuse box heres a pic to help
Addition I found i did have spark how due i I test the coil and the ignition module module.
