More Info required What are you referring to as an A frame? The frame rail, lower control arm, upper control arm, etc?

Addition I believe the lower control arm, frame rail, basically the front end... my driver side tire got pushed inward towards frame.

Answer The lower control arm unbolts and is easy to change.
The frame rail however is a different story. If it is bent, it's welded in and has to cut out, re welded etc. This could get quite expensive on a 89 model car. It sounds like you have some extensive damage.
Without a visual....I can only speculate, but if the frame rail is bent...cost effective...I honestly don't think I would do it unless the car is sentimental.

Addition I just asked and was told it is bent where the lower control arm bolts on. Would that be the a-frame vs frame rail???

Answer That sounds like a rear cross member, it's where the rack and pinion steering bolts in also. Those aren't too bad to change. Takes about 2-3 hours.
