Car wont' start
Car: Acura, Integra LS, 1996, B20/2.0 upgrade - Back to Fix-It - Acura Integra LS Repair Manuals
Q.My 96 Acura Integra LS. won't start after I parked and went into the store. The relay under the dash is clicking and the lights are bright as can be, so I'm pretty positive that the batery is strong as well as the starter. My lights do flicker from time to time and come on and off. Not sure if this is part of the problem or not. Just paid $80.00 to have it towed home and as soon as I turn the ignition;vooroom it starts up just fine. Any suggestions. Please!
I already checked/done: Check cables on battery. Checked fuses.And the voltage on the battery.
More Info required do you know if the car has spark or fuel pressure?
Addition I changed the fuel filter a month ago and the fuel pump kicks on when I turn the ignition to the on position. The spark is thier I'm pretty sure. It just cranked up in the drive way after I got it towed home an hour ago. Starter sounded strong. The lights have been flickering on and off for a while now and tend to come on and off when they please. Could this be a contributer?
More Info required theirs a few things that can be going on here.
the ignition switch could be a problem
the igniter or the main fuel relay.
when this happened did it have fuel or spark ?
now everything is working now so nothing is going to test bad.
i can send you some test for the igniter and the ignition and the main fuel relay.
but since this seems to be a thermal issue so leads me to the igniter or the main fuel relay.
if you have a volt meter i can send you the test info.
