I have checked several how to forums on how to change my fuel pump. My question is, does the fuel filler neck need to be unbolted, or does it just stay put? Is it made onto the tank?

Fuel pump's filter has to be set before deeping the pump into the tank.
I did have an aftermarket pump installed which gave me too much truble as far as it can only consume half of the tank and was more expensive than OEM pump.
Aftermarket's pump filter did not really do the job as it had too much bubbles or something preventing it from sucking all the gas out of the tank.
OEM pump worked right out of the box and still does.
