I was trying to check for corrosion on my distributor cap and rotor when I screwed up by not marking the wires to their appropriate spots. Now I have no idea what order the wires connect back to the cap. I have an aftermarket distributor on their and there is no marking to indicate order that I can tell. I will admit that I dont know much about what I am doing but if anyone could help I would greatly appreciate it.

I looked up a diagram online for the same problem. In my experience you can plug them in and if they are wrong your car won't start...but it won't blow up either so it is -relatively- safe to experiment a little with that one. I don't remember where I found the diagram, it was over a year ago.
