Can anyone please help, i am about to rip all of the hair out of my head. I bought a 97 P reg golf gti 2 weeks ago and it has been cutting out on me even at speed not just while idling, i had the electrics analysed today and nothing showed so the guy at the garage said that vw have a tendency to get rubbish in the throttle or something and so he cleaned it with "chemicals" and now it doesn't cut out but it is now juddering like its being starved of fuel. Oh, and the other thing is that he said he had done was reset the revs, do any of you know what this means and if it can affect whats happeninf to the car? I would be very very grateful of any help I,m just fed up with the bloody thing and its making me hate it but i love golfs and i just want to love it, many thanks, lisa

I have experienced what seems to be the car miss firing at high speeds, taken to an independant garage they could not find the problem. do you get a resolution to yours
