Acura Integra 91 DOHC Wiring Problems
by: steevo on Tuesday, September 19, 2006 at 10:04 EDT
ok here's my problem, we just finished installing the transmission on, with the starter, and we think all the wiring is installed to, but we tried to start the car but didn't work. we had to boost it, once it was started we hit the pedal to the floor, when running at 7000rpm all the lights and electronics stoped working but came back on once at 4000rpm. then we tried again and the car stoped by itself. We checked the battrie's power and it's full. Anybody have an idea of what could be the problem?

I am currently purchasing a 91 Acura Integra and the vehicle doesnt always start on its own. The battery is brand new, and has the 12.5 recommended charge. We usually have to start the vehicle by jump starting it though. I've read up on forums that plenty of people are having trouble with starting integras. Im starting to believe it is in the wiring. I haven't found anything in the repair manual and I haven't found any wiring diagrams online either.
