    Need professional help bad!
by: N2OGSR on Thursday, May 18, 2006 at 20:37 EDT
I own a 2000 Integra GSR. I recently just blew my head gasket and warped the head. I ripped almost my whole engine compartment out and got the head out. I took that to a mac shop and he had to take .015" off of the mating surface to get it flat again. I put it all back together, adjusted the valves to factory specs, put a set of unorthodox ultra ss pulleys on, and set the timing. It ran great for a couple days, now all of a sudden it is making a very loud tapping noise between 2000 and 3000 rpm. I also noticed it was spitting something black out of the exhaust. I checked the plugs, timing, and valves and everything was fine. It still runs fine with no loss in performance, but the tapping is getting worse. Please help me
