I recently purchased a 2000 VW Jetta and I have a shudder when braking. The main shudder is in the brake pedal but can also be felt by the pasenger on the floor and sometimes in the steering wheel. I plan to have the brake pads and rotors changed but was warned to only get "good" parts. Any suggestions on a "good" aftermarket brand?
