Hi, my parents just bought an '06 Odyssey with an XM ready factory installed radio. Dealer said to add the adapter for the XM would be $900, and if they were smart they would get an aftermarket installed adapter instead.
My dad has shopped around a bit and the only thing they have tried to sell him is an fm modulated XM tuner.
What he wants is a Terk or similiar adapter/tuner to plug into his XM ready head unit.
Does anyone know who manufacturs this head unit, so we can get the correct Terk tuner, .
Are there other tuner options to achieve the same result?

The honda e-store price for the parts and instaltion for the xm-ready radio is $588.00. This is far less than the $900.00 quoted by your dealer, but still quite expensisve.
