    Anti-lock and TCS instrument panel warning lights are on
    by: gilmick on Tuesday, June 24, 2008 at 12:33 EDT
    Hello all;
    My anti-lock and TCS instrument panel warning lights are on. They have been coming on and going off for over a month now. I don't think that it is anything serious and DO NOT want to go to my Honda dealership and get ripped off!
    A neighbour, who was a mechanic, told me that it is likely that there is accumulated dirt, etc. around the sensor on one of the drive wheels that is 'fooling' the sensor into thinking that there is a problem with the anti-lock system because it can't 'read' the ring because of the dirt or other obstruction.
    Before I try to fix it myself, I would like to know if anyone else has had a similar problem and how they have found the solution.
    My Odyssey LX is 2001, with 100,500 kms (approx. 63,000 miles)and has generally been trouble free since I purchased it new in July 2001.
    Thanks, Gil
