I'm trying to install some seat covers, I would like some advice on removing the rear seat from a 2000 Passat GLS. The 60/40 seats fold forward and there is a bolt that is easily removed so the seat backs can be removed. The rear corners of the bench can be lifted and some type of clip unsnaps. The rear portion of the bench is unattached but the front of the bench appears to still be securely fastened. Any ideas on how that front attachment of the rear bench can be disengaged?
