Thinking about buying an 81 diesel rabbit from a friend..Looks ok, no damage, new battery..but i've never owne a diesel before..what do i look for.? My oldest son is a diesel mechanic on cummings motors..he says he can keepit running forever..i drive 300 miles per day and am interested in the milage aspects..thanks..pj
