1993 subaru legacy check engine light comes on.

Q.1993 subaru legacy check engine light comes on.
It started doing this after I had a couple of hard starts. It seemed it was starved for fuel.
When i turn car over it will not start until I push the gas pedal to the floor and hold it there.
Once it starts it runs ok. It normally only does this when the car heats up and then I park it for a while, then on restart t-it is hard to start
The check engine light also came on a couple of times it the morning after i taveled a half mile or so and stopped at a stop sign, the light only remained on for about 2-3 mile after that.
Answer None of these symptoms really mean anything until you have the computer scanned and you know what trouble codes have been set. Unfortunately, this is not one you can get done for free but it still needs to be done before you can proceed any further.
