Left rear wheel is tilted more than the right rear one, causing uneven tire wear.
Car: Honda, CRV, 1998 - Back to Fix-It - Honda CRV Repair Manuals
Q.1998 Honda CR-V, left rear wheel is tilted more than the right rear one, causing uneven tire wear. What can I do?
Answer The crv needs to be aligned and to see if the rear upper control arm is bent which is very common.
Addition Just to make sure you understand my question, if you draw a vertical line, and you look at the vehicle from behind, the left rear wheel is something like this / while the right one is like this I. I did not hit anything and I dont take the car offroad. Could still be the control arm? Are there any other possible adjustments if the control arm is not bent?
Answer Most common is the control arm I've actually seen them brake while driving. The bushings go bad over time and they brake which is dangerous. So you need to have the upper and lower control arms checked. Most common is the rear upper control arm fails.
