Acura Legend is having heater problems.
Car: Acura, Legend, 1995 - Back to Fix-It - Acura Legend Repair Manuals
Q.My son's 1995 Acura Legend is having heater problems. Last night he tried to drive home and the heater and defroster just blew cold air. The vehicle had been sitting outside in snow and ice for about 30 hours prior to that. He needs to get home as soon as he can. Any suggestions on what could be causing the heater problems?
Answer Check that the radiator is full of water.
Remove the cap and open the bleeder screw at the top of the housing that the upper hose attachs to. (12 mm) fill the radiator until the coolant flows in a steady stream. Close and replace the cap and try the heat again. Let me know what happens.
Addition WE did as you suggested. There appears to be plenty of coolant. While under the hood, I tapped on the heater valve control diaphram housing and now the air is blowing hot inside the vehicle.
