my timing belt broke, how do i reset it?
Car: Acura, Legend, 1989, 2.7L - Back to Fix-It - Acura Legend Repair Manuals
Q.1989 legend 2.7L, belt broke while on the road, (going slow). we replaced it but it won't run. Barely starts, won't rev up. Suspect the timing isn't right. Need help setting it correctly.
Answer Sounds like you are off a cog
Here is Acura procedure;
Addition any chance I can be 180 off?
Answer If you were that far off, should be backfiring & unable to run
Addition thanks for the advice, i'll double check it. If the valves got bent would it act his way?
