Replacement of a timing belt on an 01 acura cl?
Car: Acura, CL, 2001 - Back to Fix-It - Acura Repair Manuals
Q.Replacement of a timing belt on an 01 acura cl?
More Info required Hello. What is your question?
Addition I have a 01 acura 3.2 CL v6 w/ 102K miles. Dont know if timing belt was replaced at 60K, so Im looking for an estimate of replacing it now w/ a "timing belt kit" - timing belt, tensioners, drive belt, water pump, and labor. What is the average cost I should expect to pay?
More Info required Oh, ok. Yes, no problem. I can give you a price on the parts and labor times, but the the labor price will vary depending on the labor rate your shop charges...will that be sufficient?
Addition OK if you can give me an estimate or a range of the parts and labor that would be good.
Answer Yes. All prices are for Genuine Honda parts (highly recommended)
Timing belt $37.27
Water Pump $129.95
Drive belt (2 of them) $20.25 and $19.88
Tensioner (normally does not need replaced) $102.83
Labor time is 5 hours. Most Acura dealers are around $80-$100 an hour. Most Honda specialty shops are $60-$80 an hour.
